Mindful Moments with Wendy Quan
Updated: Oct 27, 2022
Most of us spend more time with coworkers and supervisors than we do with our own families, so it benefits us to ensure these relationships are positive. Wendy Quan, founder of The Calm Monkey, talks to us today about how mindfulness can enhance our connections with peers and help us successfully adapt to changes at work.
Wendy Quan is the pioneer in workplace mindfulness facilitator training & certification through her business, The Calm Monkey. Experienced meditators learn best practices to implement mindfulness at work and be skilled mindfulness facilitators. Wendy is also a pioneer in combining change management with mindfulness to help people through difficult change.
Wendy is the featured expert in the newly released video course Mindfulness for the Workplace on The Great Courses, Wondrium and Audible – so you can learn to create a better experience for yourself at work and in life, no matter what your current circumstances are or what the future might hold.
Wendy is a respected expert, author and speaker, having taught at many mindfulness events including at the Greater Good Science Center of UC Berkeley. With a corporate management background in human resources, information technology and change management, together with her personal experience with mindfulness through cancer, she has trained over 400 mindfulness facilitators worldwide and gratefully served organizations big and small, including Google and the U.S. National Park Service.
I always enjoy talking with Wendy and appreciate her expertise and insights, and I highly recommend her course, Mindfulness for the Workplace. You can find the course on Wondrium, the Great Courses, and on Audible. You can find links to her course in our show notes page and on our social media posts and get a preferred price on the Great Courses DVD or download version by using the link provided.
